Stay in Touch - Poem "Creating Grief"
All this terror and aggression is creating a lot of grief and the more those involved re-act with aggression the more grief it will create.
There will be more victims that will want to gain revenge. This cycle will never stop if we keep re-acting with aggression.
Its up to all of us to have peace and compassion in our thoughts and daily life. A line in one of U2's songs is.
Dream up the kind of world you want to live in and Dream out loud.
We could all do this in our daily lives and share that dream with others.
Here is a poem I wrote why we do not have peace, because of the way it is we have grief.
Creating Grief.
Will this aggression in our world ever cease,
So we can create what most of us want, Peace,
Innocent men, women and children die every day,
In a game in which a minority control the play.
Presidents, Prime ministers react with war,
The spiritual way is not to even the score,
They say they are Christians and believe in god,
The way they deal with issues is not what he wants.
If they really want peace in our world today,
They must deal with it in a peaceful way,
What is it that creates the violence and aggression,
Its oil, its money and mans need for possession.
Each country, their culture and their beliefs,
Its theirs, not for others to invade and create grief,
If we keep reacting it will only get worse,
Is it not time we learned, to let go of this curse.
