During my life I have heard on many occasions the phrase “What we put out we will get back” also " what we sow we shall reap".
During the last 15 years of my life, I realized up until I was 42 I did not have control of my life. Conditioning from parents, teachers, religion and the media controlled my life for me.
Also chasing the dollar to fulfill my materialistic needs created a lot of stress. With that and the conditioning it was difficult to find a healthy balance and be in control of my life.
A long the way I had lots of negative feelings and beliefs about my experiences, which would create negative reactions.
A good phrase I use these days which had a effect on my life during those years was, “I was haunted by the past and I feared the future”, by being this way I was not focused on the moment which is the most important time of all.
It was not until my divorce at the age of 42 that I slowed down and started looking at my life.
Over the next few years I realized I had attracted my problems and issue’s myself, by what I put out. I could not blame and judge others for my own misfortunes.
Believing in the law of attraction I started to resolve and let go of issues, my life then became more balanced and peaceful.
In the last 15 years, even though there have always been conflicts between nations and people, it seems to have intensified.
“What we put out we will get back” is not used as a belief system to resolve these conflicts.
The latest and most disastrous tragedy for most in our time was September 11Th.
A lot of people in our world did not want a reaction with more violence because they believed that it would only create more violence and feared something worse than September 11Th. But the super powers decided to go in and bomb a country that could not defend itself, killing more innocent people. Some will may even want to get revenge sometime in the future, so the cycle continues, we need to change that cycle.
We have to look for more peaceful ways to rid our world of terror, and it will not happen over night.
A small minority of people in our world cause this terror, yet they get all the publicity.
Their actions are in the newspapers and on our TV screens all the time, I wonder if they would still do it if they never got that publicity.
I do not read the newspapers or watch the news because it unbalances my life, and it is something I do not want to see. I want peace in my world so I have to separate myself from the media so that I can create peace in my life.
Another phrase I use in my life, which is commonly known is that my thoughts and belief's create my reality, understanding and using this belief system is another way to find balance in my life.
I look at our world which has a lot of fearful, negative thoughts and beliefs, I can see why we are stuck with all this negativity and aggression.
I know and feel the majority of our world try and want to live in peace, if we want peace in our world our thoughts, beliefs and actions need to be of a peaceful nature.
It would be great if our papers and news showed us more of the success and positive stories that are happening all the time.
Consciousness is another important aspect of our life, this can create change in a very big way.
If the will and desire with positive thoughts and beliefs wants peace, then it will happen.
For it to shift on a world scale the majority of our world must put this into practice with focused and disciplined ritual, over a period of time. This would be no time at all compared with the length of time we’ve had to put up with this violence and aggression.
I want to share with you these awareness and understandings, they have created peace in my world and I have never felt more balanced and been happier in it.
